TERMS
Booking a Party
In order to secure your party date, time, and character(s), we require a deposit. Your date and time is not guaranteed until your deposit has been received. We will send you a contract/invoice once you finalize your event after speaking with a coordinator on the phone or confirming your details via email. Your deposit must be received within 24 hours of booking or your party date and time will be released to the next client.
Final Balance
Your remaining balance is due no later than 72 hours prior to your event. Your character will not enter your party until payment has been received. No exceptions.
Cancellations & Refunds
Deposits are non-refundable if cancelled within 14 days of your event. If unforeseen circumstances do arise within the 7-14 days leading up to your party, then you may reschedule at no additional costs. If a reschedule is requested within 7 days of your event, then there will be a $50 fee charged for this schedule change. Your deposit is valid for up to 6 months after your initial event date and then it will expire. We allow up to one reschedule. If you cancel your event for a second time, your deposit will be forfeited. Our time is valuable, and a high level of effort is required to coordinate with our performers. While it is highly unlikely, we reserve the right to cancel any appearance due to serious or contagious illness or injury of the performer or the performer’s family. In this situation, the booking deposit will be put towards a new available event date if a replacement performer cannot be booked.
Character Arrivals
Our characters will arrive at the requested "Grand Entrance" time. Your performer will call or text you upon their arrival at your venue. We try not to arrive too early so that all your guests will have arrived at the event and will be prepared for the character who makes their appearance. If, for some reason, you do not see the character at the event start time feel free to give us a call. We take pride in our on-time arrival! If, for some unforeseeable reason, our character is late due to circumstances beyond their control, the character will stay the extended time to compensate for their tardiness.
Safety
An adult must be present in the same area as the character and children throughout the entire event. Parents are welcome to take pictures, video, and enjoy the performance and activities! Although our actors are extremely talented and friendly, they do not attend any event(s) for childcare purposes so please note that any assistance a guest may require and all supervisory needs shall be facilitated by a designated party host or parent, not the performer(s).
Severe Weather - Outside Parties
We love to entertain outside, and we do our best during the planning stages of your event to establish a "plan B" in case of any of inclement weather. Our performers are not permitted to get or be wet or be exposed to extreme heat, cold, wind or rain. For the health and safety of our performers, when the outside temperature exceeds 70 degrees, we require a shaded spot for our activities. When the outside temperature exceeds 80 degrees, we require that the visit takes place indoors due to our heavy wigs, ballgowns, or one-piece suits. In fall and winter months, if the temperature drops below 55 degrees, we require the visit takes place indoors. If you are planning an outdoor party, we always recommend having a Plan B ready in case of weather - this includes windy days as the wind damages our wigs. Mascot characters are only permitted indoors in a temperature-controlled environment.
Guest Behavior
If our performers feel unsafe at any time, for any reason due to a guest’s behavior or party environment, they have the right to confront a third party to assist them in their exit from the event immediately. Our characters are not responsible for children’s behavior, and the performer may leave the premises at any time if deemed necessary. This includes both physical and verbal situations.
Party Activities
A successful event is always our top priority. Our goal during the planning process is to ensure that we coordinate and confirm all of your event details in order to prepare our characters for a great performance. A smooth arrival, seamless transition from one activity to another and a gracious departure can all be impacted if details change without prior notification. Example, if your party headcount exceeds the number previously given it will likely alter what our performers are able to accomplish during your specific timeframe. The performer will do their best to improvise and try to accommodate for any changes, but they are not obligated to complete all activities. Please remember to notify us of any changes at least 24 hours prior to our arrival.
Other Entertainment
Please let us know of any other vendors or entertainers that will be participating during the event. This helps set expectations as well as prepares our performers to either work with or around other activities to not interfere with our attendance. We strive for a great overall flow for any event we are involved in. Character integrity is also very important to us, so we require notice of any type of other entertainment that will be involved.
Gratuity
Tips for our performers are not included in the price of our party packages. While gratuity is not required, it is always greatly appreciated, and we love having our talented folks recognized for their excellent service!
